SAJAK AMINAH QUTBI BUAT BAKAL SUAMI..

Tuesday, June 2, 2009
Sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada manusia,
tak semsetinya manusia cinta kepada kita.
Tetapi sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada Allah,
nescaya cinta Allah tiada penghujungnya.

Sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada manusia,
kita akan cemburu kepada orang yang
mencintai orang yang kita cintai.
Tetapi sekiranya,
kita cinta kepada Allah,
kita akan turut mencintai orang yang
melabuhkan cintanya kepada Allah juga.

Ya Allah,
andainya dia adalah jodoh
yang ditetapkan oleh-Mu kepadaku,
Maka,
campakkanlah ke dalam hatiku,
cinta kepadanya adalah kerana-Mu,
dan campakkanlah ke dalam hatinya,
cinta kepadaku adalah kerana-Mu.

Namun,
andainya dia bukanlah jodoh yang
ditetapkan oleh-Mu kepadaku,
berikanlah aku kekuatan agar pasrah
dalam mengharungi ujian,
yang Kau berikan kepadaku.

‘ 10- O you who believe! Shall I lead you to a bargain that will save you from a grievous Penalty?11- That you believe inAllah and His Messanger, and that you strive (your utmost) in the cause of Allah with your property and your persons : that will be best for you, if you but knew! 12- He will forgive you your sins, and admit you to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, and to beautiful mansions in Gardens of Eternity : that is indeed the supreme Achievement. 13- And another (favour will He bestow) which you do love,- help from Allah and speed victory. So give the Glad Tidings to the Believers. 14- O You who believe! be you helpers of Allah: as said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples, “ Who will be my helpers to (the work of) Allah?” Said the Disciples, “ We are Allah’s helpers!” Then a portion of the Children of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved : but We gave power to those who believe, against their enemies, and they became the ones that prevailed.’ ( Surah Al-Saff : 10-14)

With this call of verses, lets us offer ourselves to be a volunteer of Mosque Guide!

What:

About 4 million tourists visit various mosques and Islamic centers throughout Malaysia every year. Monolingual, security guards are the first contacts for the tourists. Most of these visits are nothing more than photo-taking sessions. There are no pamphlets and qualified guides in most of these places. In the mosques with high tourist visits, there are no Visitor Relation Officers to attend to the visitors. Some private tour guide brief their group based on limited knowledge of Islam. A great opportunity to convey the message of Islam and remove misconception of it. None of these is likely to change in the near future. We have choice : wait for the change or initiate the change.

Why:

In 2002, Islamic Outreach ABIM launced the mosque Tour Guide Programme. To date, there are volunteer Mosque Guides to assist visitors at Masjid Negara. About 30,000 non-muslims visit Masjid Negara every month. Some of these visitors have never heard of Islam, have never seen or spoken to a Muslim, or never been inside a mosque. This is your opportunity to help them. We need more volunteers.. Individually and collectively, we have a duty to convey the message of Islam to others. Allah the All-Knowing has made it easy for us by sending the visitors to our doors.

Who:

Even one hour a week can help make a difference. The most important requirement in a passion to serve Allah the Most Exalted. The experience of volunteers is that their knowledge of Islam has increased through this noble voluntary work. May Allah SWT make you among the band of men and women who invite others to His Truth. Ameen..

Banishing all the worries..

Tuesday, May 19, 2009
I recently had some conversation with my sister - one of the participants that join the programme which handled by my alumni and at the same time I had been responsibled as a caretaker of the group ‘ adik kasih 4’.. Not much we discuss, around the things that happened recent month..and the point that attracted me is that the things that she asked for my help in settling her problems bout studies..what a sister!.. I know that at the age of 13 maybe a girl still seeking for a guidance and a model to follow.. and I know, I should play that part to lighten her worry ( even I wasn’t the best)..Finally, I recalled some formula worked out by Wills H. Carrier, brilliant engineer who headed world famous Carrier Corporation through a book written by Dale Carnegie..To me, anyone can use it, and it consists of three steps:
- step 1: Just analyzed the situation fearless and honestly and figured out what was the worst that could possibly happen as a result of the failure. If we’re a student that sits for SPM, probably we would lose a chance to further study in higher institutions if we failed to score a good results..
- Step 2: After figuring out what was the worst that could possibly happen, just reconciled ourselves to accepting it, if necessary.
- Step 3 : From that time on, calmly devoted our time and energy to trying to improve upon the worst which we had already accepted mentally.

Frankly to me, if we kept worrying, it will lead to harm. As one of the worst features about worrying is that it destroys our ability to concentrate. When we worry, our minds jump here and there and everywhere, and we’ll lose all power of decision. However, when we force to face the worst and accept it mentally, we then eliminate all these vague imaginings and put ourselves in a position in which we’r able to concentrate on our problem.. Anyhow, what attracting me in dealing worry is that back to our faith. I much more interested in what religion does for me. It brings me spiritual values. It gives me faith, hope, and courage. It banishes tensions, anxieties, fears and worries. It gives me purpose to my life- and direction.. Thank you Allah for the gift of Islam..and to my 'adik-adik kasih'.. kakak miss u all.. may this ukhuwah remains forever.. I'll always be a sister for you..
